Back-to-school is expensive. Trouska helps you find out how much, and where to pay less. HOW IT WORKS 1. Photograph the school supply list. A photo or a PDF is enough. 2. Trouska reads it and recognizes each item. 3. You get an estimate store by store, near you. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Compare what your list costs at major retailers - Choose between one single trip or chasing the sales - Get an alert when a price drops - Record what you already have at home, so you don't buy it twice - Share the list with the other parent - Resell or find secondhand what was used for only one year - Find assistance programs near you AN HONEST ESTIMATE Trouska does not claim to know the exact price at the store down your street. It gives a category-level estimate built from recorded prices, and says plainly what still needs to be confirmed on the shelf. You stay in control: you can correct a price, and the comparison takes it into account. ENGLISH AND FRENCH The app opens in your language and switches whenever you want. FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS Trouska is for adults preparing for the school year. Children do not have accounts. The parent enters a first name and a grade level, and nothing more: no date of birth, no photo, no contact details. BETWEEN PARENTS The secondhand marketplace connects families in the same area. Trouska handles no payments and takes no commission: you agree on the price and the handover between yourselves. NO PASSWORD Enter your email, receive a six-digit code. That's it. Trouska is a service of Morosphinx Solutions Inc. For ages 18 and up.
