The premise of the Travelling Dads app is to enable recording and play back of stories read by people familiar to kids so they they can enjoy listening to a audio version of a story while holding a physical book in front of them without interacting with screen time. The Travelling Dads app lets you or your kids record the reading of stories directly into the app so that kids, grandkids, nieces or nephews can listen back to the stories at a later date. Each of our stories listed in the app will come with a full script of the book enabling users to record their version directly into the app wherever they are located. You won't need to have the physical book with you! Once you have a recording, other family members can log into the Travelling Dads app and access the recording wherever they are around the world. Image a Grandparent living overseas in a different timezone creating a recording of one of our stories into the app so that their Grandchildren living in another country could hear their Nan or Pop's voice reading them a story at bedtime (or any other time for that matter)! If you are a Mum or Dad who travels a lot or does shift work and misses bedtime frequently, you could record multiple versions of our stories into the app so your kids can still hear your voice reading to them when they are going to bed. If you have kids who are sick and undergoing hospital treatment you can't always be with them if you have to work. Our app will let you record a story so that your child can hear your voice reading to them whenever they want to while receiving their treatment. Or if you are that wild Aunt or Uncle, why not record some whacky versions of our stories for your nieces and nephews to listed to as an audio book while travelling in the car with their parents.
