Survey a bus stop while you are standing at it. Transit Field is the field companion to the LMAi Labs transit planning platform. Your agency's stops load from its own GTFS feed, so there is nothing to configure and nothing to map by hand. Open the app, find the stop, record what you see. WHAT YOU RECORD Condition: good, fair, or poor Amenities: shelter, bench, lighting, boarding pad, curb ramp, sign Wheelchair access Photos of the stop Notes for the planner An amenity you did not check stays "not answered." It never becomes a "no." A stop nobody has surveyed will not show up in a report as a stop confirmed to have no curb ramp. WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL Cell service at a bus stop is not guaranteed. Download the stop list and an offline map pack before you leave, then survey all day with no connection. Work is stored on the device and syncs when you are back in range. Force-quitting the app does not lose a shift. FIND THE STOP Sort by distance to see what is closest to you. Search by name, stop code, or stop ID. Filter to one route and walk it end to end. GPS GROUND TRUTHING When a stop's recorded position does not match where it actually is, submit the correction from the phone. A planner reviews and accepts it at a desk, so a single field reading never moves a stop for everyone using the feed. TRY IT WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT The app opens into a read-only demo of a synthetic agency with 62 stops of sample survey data. Browse the stops, open the survey form, sort by distance, and view the map without signing in. Signing in is for agency staff surveying their own stops. Agency accounts are provisioned by the operator. Requires an account with an agency using the LMAi Labs transit planning platform.
