TrafficAssist will display Traffic Advisories. Features are selectable via Preferences. The functionality follows the TCAS II protocol defined by the FAA, with one exception, as the application depends on passive adsb data and does not actively communicate with a target, RA (Resolution Advisories) are not issued. In addition to display the traffic it will identify Make/Model of aircraft if it is part of the US or Canadian Aircraft registry. It uses ADSB-In (Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast) data over Wifi in GDL90 format. In this new version we added CDTI Assisted Visual Separation (CAVS). This feature is part of FAA NextGen initiative to enhance situational awareness when you approach and land your aircraft. TrafficAssist is a full screen app but the action bar and menus can be displayed by tapping the screen. Before you buy this, you can install the free demo version: "TrafficAssist Demo" The Demo version is fully functional but will exit after about 30 minutes.
