Your BAS, already done. TradeBook is built for Australian sole traders and small trade businesses — the ones doing the books at the kitchen table on a Sunday night. Photograph a receipt at the counter and it's costed against the job before you're back in the ute. At the end of the quarter your BAS figures are already sitting there: G1, GST collected, GST paid, and what you owe — worked out from invoices you've actually been paid for. WHAT IT DOES Receipts — Photograph a docket and TradeBook reads the merchant, date, total, GST and line items. Anything it gets wrong, you correct by hand in seconds. Job costing — Every receipt lands against a job, so you can see spend against budget while the job is still running, not after it's lost money. Quotes and invoices — Quote the work from the job, then raise the invoice from the same place. Add GST, send it as a PDF from your phone, and mark it paid when the money lands. BAS and GST — Quarterly figures on a cash basis, split so you can see what came from general expenses and what came from tools and equipment. Claim only the business share of something used partly at home. Export a worksheet as PDF or CSV for your accountant, and record what you lodged so you can see if anything changes afterwards. Not registered for GST yet? A rolling tracker shows where you stand against the $75,000 threshold. Scheduling — Book jobs in and get a reminder before you're due on site. Keep the client's number on the job: one tap rings them, one tap texts them you're on the way. Hours — Log the day against a job and send a week's timesheet as a PDF. Photos — Before, after and issue shots kept with the job, for when a client remembers it differently. Exports — Everything out as CSV whenever you want, with Xero account codes if you use them.
