You get dressed every morning without thinking about what the fabric was treated with. Most of us do. The tag says 88% polyester, maybe a wash symbol, and that's it. It doesn't mention the water-repellent coating, the wrinkle-free resin, or how it was dyed. Toxie reads what the label does say and estimates the rest. Point your camera at any clothing tag. In a couple of seconds you get a score from 0 to 100, a plain-English reason for it, and a cleaner swap if the number comes back low. Works the same way on bags, shoes, and most things with a material label. WHAT YOU CAN DO Scan a single item before you buy it, standing right there in the shop. Score your whole closet and watch the number climb as you swap pieces out. Ask Toxie anything. "Is recycled polyester actually better?" "What does OEKO-TEX mean?"
