Touch connects a childcare center with the families enrolled in it. Staff record the day as it happens; parents see it on their phone. BEFORE YOU START Touch is for childcare centers and the families enrolled in them. - Directors: you can open your center and register directly in the app. No code is needed. - Parents and staff: register with the invite code issued by your director. Without it you cannot join a center. If you are not connected to a center, there is nothing for you to use in this app. WHO USES TOUCH Everyone who signs in is an adult: parents and guardians, directors, and childcare staff. Children do not have accounts and do not sign in. FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS - The day at a glance: check-in and check-out times, meals, naps, and potty records - The daily report written by your child's teachers - Photos shared by the school - Direct messages with the school, with replies in the same thread - Announcements from the school, and a calendar of events, menus, and items to bring - Send a notice to the school: absence, late arrival, or a change of pickup - Invoices issued by your school, viewable any time - Switch between your children with one tap - Allergy and health notes you can keep up to date - Unread badges, and push notifications you can turn on or off by type FOR DIRECTORS AND STAFF - Attendance: check-in, check-out, tardy, absent, and early leave, with times and notes - Meals, naps, and potty records, with an allergy alert on the meal screen - Daily log entries: temperature, mood, hydration, diaper, play, walks, and health checks - Daily reports for families - Child records: name, date of birth, class, enrollment, expected attendance days, allergies and health notes - Injury and incident records - Photo upload and sharing - Announcements, calendar entries, and invoices - Class roster and class assignment, with CSV export - Issue and revoke invite codes for parents and for staff - Account management, with a 30-day grace period before an account is finally removed ENGLISH AND JAPANESE Touch is built for Japanese-American childcare communities. Each account chooses English or Japanese for itself, so an English-speaking parent and a Japanese-speaking grandparent can use the same app, each in their own language. PRICING The school subscribes directly with us; parents and guardians use Touch at no cost. There are no in-app purchases and no advertising in this app. PRIVACY Touch carries no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. A child's records and photos are visible only to that child's family and to the staff of that school. You can delete your own account from within the app. A NOTE ON HEALTH INFORMATION Touch is a record-keeping and communication tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice or diagnosis. Allergy and health notes are information entered by families and staff to help with day-to-day care.
