Torvak – Port Scan is a powerful network diagnostic tool that reveals exactly what services are listening on the machines around you. Instead of relying on simulations or canned responses, it opens real TCP connections to genuine addresses on your local network and reports which ports are open with pinpoint accuracy. The scanner lets you type a target host or IP, choose a range, and execute a sweep with dialed sockets in batches of 24, using a connection timeout that you control—so full scans resolve in seconds. As ports respond, a live dial fills up, and every hit lands in the results list complete with its service name and a risk band for quick triage. The app also reads your live network link—SSID, local IP, gateway, subnet mask, and interface name—then automatically sweeps the .1 through .254 range to discover which hosts are awake and how fast they reply. Tapping any discovered host sends it directly into the scanner for a focused analysis. Every run is recorded in a local journal, capturing the target, duration, ports found, and hosts seen, with a bar chart that stacks recent scans side by side to help you spot when a new service appeared. The built-in port reference library covers well-known ports, explaining what each one does and why it matters, and you can search by number or service name, or filter by Calm, Watch, or Hot risk levels. Torvak offers a free tier with four port scans per day, two full subnet sweeps, built-in ranges like 1-1024 and curated presets such as Web Stack and Remote Access, plus unlimited scan history and an adjustable probe timeout. Upgrading to Torvak Pro removes all daily limits, adds custom port ranges like 22,80,443,8080 or 3000-3010, and eliminates every upgrade prompt. Everything runs entirely on your device—there’s no account, no cloud, and no analytics of your targets, so your scan results remain private and stored locally.
