There are a multitude of really nice To Do style management apps that are feature rich covering a plethora of uses available. Today @ Task offers a simpler solution to create a minimalistic list of tasks, or things, you need to keep track of. There's no time management notifications, or pressure to complete a task on time. It's just a list of things. While writing the app, I used it to keep track of things I still needed to code and fix. My wife uses it as a shopping list where she can check things off while at the store. Regular purchases, like bread and milk, can then get unchecked for re-use on another shop, while the things that are a one off, or needed less frequently are removed. The long press and drag feature lets you re-order your list to assist with executive functioning issues, or simply to prioritise a task by making it more noticeable when the app is opened. It's completely free. There are no ads, no pay to play or in-app purchases. There's no Internet connection required to use it other than connection to the Play Store when updates become available. Your task list is stored on your device, not in the cloud. You don't need an Internet connection to save and access your tasks. When you delete a task it is removed from your device, and when you uninstall Today @ Task, all of your tasks are deleted off the device as well. We don't collect any data from your usage. We can't see your tasks, or any other information about you, or how you're using the app. Feel free to share your uses however if you are finding it useful! There are not multiple lists. It's one single list for managing today's tasks. Of course they'll still be there tomorrow if you don't get through everything today. We think it's pretty simple to use. - Create a new task with a description of what you want to remember. - Check the box to show it as complete, or uncheck it if you want to continue with it later. - Swipe right and tap on the edit button to alter it. - Swipe left and tap on the delete button to permanently remove it from your list, and device. Do this for any task whether it's been checked off, or not. - Long press and drag on a task to reorder in your list. So go ahead and give it a try. Make a shopping list. Plan out your new morning routine. Jot down some things you'll need to do on a project you're thinking about. How you use it is completely up to you.
