Store description excerpt

Tithi Calendar is a Gujarati and Hindi calendar with the complete Hindu Panchang for 2026 and 2027 - tithi, choghadiya, Rahu Kaal, muhurat and festivals - working fully offline. It computes every date on your own device, wherever you are. No account, no sign-in, nothing to load. Open it on a train, in a basement or on a flight and it still works. GUJARATI CALENDAR, HINDI CALENDAR, ONE PANCHANG Read the app in Gujarati, Hindi or English, and switch whenever you like. It is a Gujarati calendar, a Hindi calendar and a general Hindu calendar at once, and every element is labelled in English as well as its own script. Months with Vikram Samvat and Shaka Samvat Daily Panchang: tithi, paksha, nakshatra, yoga, karana, vara Chandra rashi and the time it changes The naming syllable (namakshar) for the current nakshatra pada Ayana and ritu ANYWHERE IN INDIA Ninety-five Indian cities are built in - Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow, Patna, Varanasi, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar and more - and the day is computed from sunrise where you are. Both reckonings are named: the month in amanta form, as the west and south count it, with the purnimanta name beside it for the north. A fortnight that is Shravan in Ahmedabad is Bhadrapad in Varanasi, and the app says both. CHOGHADIYA AND RAHU KAAL All eight choghadiya windows for the day and all eight for the night - not the three that fit on a card. The window you are in right now is marked. Rahu Kaal, Yamaganda and Gulika Kalam, calculated for the weekday rather than assumed. Abhijit and other shubh muhurat windows are shown in their own colour, because an auspicious window and a warning should not look alike. Bhadra, Panchak, Disha Shool and the current Hora are shown when they apply. FESTIVALS FROM EVERY PART OF THE COUNTRY Each one with the tithi it is counted from and the observance window, not just a date. Gujarat: Diwali through Labh Pancham, Navratri, Rath Yatra, Uttarayan, Holi and Dhuleti, Janmashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi. The rest of India with it: Karwa Chauth, Chhath Puja, Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Onam, Pongal, Ugadi, Vishu, Lohri, Vaisakhi, Bohag Bihu, Thaipusam, Karthigai Deepam, Bathukamma, Teej and Gangaur. Every Ekadashi, Purnima, Amavasya and Pradosh, with the vrat each carries. Two hundred and eighty-three days in all, including the melas - Kumbh, Magh, Pushkar, Gangasagar, Sonepur, Tarnetar, Vautha - each on the day it falls where it is held. Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, and the state days: Maharashtra Day, Karnataka Rajyotsava, Kerala Piravi, Bihar Diwas, Rajasthan Diwas and the rest. Every tradition keeps its own reckoning, and each is a card you can open and read in full before you switch it on - so the calendar shows your days, not somebody else's. THREE VIEWS, AND YOUR OWN DATES Day, week and month. The month grid shows the tithi under every date and marks festivals, vrats, muhurat and your own events, with a legend.
