TinPot is the app for miniature painters and hobbyists who want to nail the right color without guesswork. Take a reference photo — a mini, artwork, or physical swatch — pick a point with the magnifier, and instantly see the closest acrylic matches from brands like Citadel Colour, Vallejo, Army Painter, AK Interactive, and more. Matching uses Lab color space with ΔE₀₀ (CIEDE2000), the same standard color professionals rely on. KEY FEATURES • Color picker — Camera or gallery, touch sampling with magnifier, hex and RGB values, and a ranked list of compatible paints with brand filters. • Dashboard — Quick access to analyze an image and view your active projects. (Coming soon!) • Projects — Save work on your device: name, notes, category, reference photos, and colors linked to the catalog with their ΔE. (Coming soon!) • Inventory — Track what’s on your paint shelf: catalog search, quantities per SKU, and barcode entry when the code exists in local data. • Settings — Light, dark, or system theme; favorite brands; customizable project categories. BUILT FOR THE HOBBY BENCH • Bundled catalog data for color lookup without relying on a constant connection. • Projects and inventory stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. • App interface available in English and Spanish.
