The bank quotes an "8% annual interest rate," but the same amount you pay varies greatly depending on the calculation method. Borrowing 500 million VND over 12 months: with a decreasing balance, the interest is 21.7 million VND; with a flat interest rate, it's 40 million VND – a difference of 18.3 million VND. Worse still, if money is deducted immediately upon receipt: signing for 500 million VND but only receiving 460 million VND, the debt is still calculated based on 500 million VND, meaning it's no longer 8% but 15.68% per year. The application consolidates all loan types into ONE comparable figure – the true interest, calculated on the actual amount you receive. There are three calculation methods side-by-side (decreasing balance, flat interest, equal payments); it declares the amount deducted upon disbursement (initial interest, total interest, processing fee); it shows how much the interest will increase after the preferential period ends and how much the total interest will cost; and it provides a repayment schedule with principal/interest charts, shareable as images. The app calculates how much you can borrow if you pay a maximum of X per month; converts short-term loans and installment payments with a '0% interest' rate (with conversion fees) to percentage per year; calculates interest on deposits and the amount lost if withdrawn early; checks if early repayment is advantageous after deducting penalty fees, and how much time you can shorten the repayment period by paying additional principal each month.
