Timentry is timekeeping built for how lawyers actually work — in short bursts, between calls, away from the desk. Capture the time you already worked, in the moments you would otherwise lose it. CAPTURE TIME THE WAY THE DAY HAPPENS Work a day at a time. Timentry opens on a single-day workspace with running day and week totals, so you always know where you stand against your target before the week closes. Entries group under the matter they belong to, with per-matter subtotals and status filters for draft, pending review, approved, released and invoiced work. TIMERS THAT SURVIVE YOUR PHONE Start a timer against any matter, pause it, resume it, then stop and log it straight into a draft entry. Timers are held on the server, not on the handset — close the app, switch devices, come back later, and the elapsed time is still correct. DRAFT NARRATIVES WITH AI Tap “Generate with AI” and Timentry drafts a billing narrative from the matter, client, duration and billing code, streaming it into the entry as it writes. Edit it, keep it, or write your own. Every narrative stays yours to approve. TURN PHONE CALLS INTO BILLABLE TIME Calls are the most commonly lost billable minutes in a practice. Take or pick a screenshot of your call log and Timentry reads it directly on your device, using on-device text recognition. It finds each call, its contact and its duration, and turns the ones you tick into draft entries under the matter you choose. The screenshot never leaves your phone. It is read locally and deleted immediately after — no image is uploaded to any server. BILLING DETAIL THAT SURVIVES REVIEW Record multiple UTBMS billing codes per entry and mark work as billable, non-billable, shadow, pro bono or no charge — so fixed-fee and AFA matters get tracked properly instead of vanishing. A compliance rate on your dashboard shows how your entries are holding up. MATTERS AND CLIENTS IN YOUR POCKET Search every matter by name, number or client. Open a matter to see total hours, total amount, billing arrangement and status. Partners, administrators and billing managers can create and edit matters, and add clients on the spot. APPROVALS BY SWIPE Approvers get a firm-wide review queue. Swipe right to approve, swipe left to reject with a reason, or open an entry for the full detail before deciding. Clear a day's submissions in a couple of minutes. YOUR DAY AT A GLANCE The dashboard shows hours today and this week against goal, unbilled drafts waiting on you, your compliance rate, and the matters taking the most of your week. BUILT FOR FIRM SECURITY Sign in with your firm email and password, with authenticator-app two-factor support where your firm requires it. Credentials are held in the iOS Keychain. Access is scoped to your role. REQUIRES A TIMENTRY ACCOUNT Timentry is used by law firms and legal teams that already have a Timentry workspace.
