Timbre Bahia is a digital intercom system for buildings and condominiums. The doorman uses the app to call an apartment from a grid of floors and units. The resident receives the call on their cell phone—even if the app is running in the background—and can answer or decline it. Communication is via audio and, when applicable, video. Main features: • Doorman calls to apartments • Incoming call notifications • Real-time audio and video • An apartment can have multiple residents; the first to answer receives the call • An apartment can only be called if at least one resident is online The app is designed for buildings that want to replace or complement their traditional doorbell with a smartphone-based solution. Accounts are provided by the service administrator; there is no public registry in the app. An internet connection is required. Microphone, camera, and notification permissions are necessary for calls to function.
