Thryma Log is a pilot logbook for iPhone and Mac. It keeps your flying record on your own devices, and works out the duty, rest, currency and certificate-expiry figures that follow from it. Advisory, by design. Thryma Log calculates duty, rest, currency, and expiry figures from the records you enter, so you can see where you stand at a glance. Those figures are a planning aid. Thryma Log does not determine legality, does not certify that you are compliant or current, and is not a substitute for your operator's release authority or the regulator of record. You remain responsible for your own compliance. Your logbook Log a flight in the detail you actually want. Choose which fields you see, add your own, and record crew, off-blocks and on-blocks times, day and night landings, approaches, and the capacity you flew in. Twenty-nine built-in column layouts cover regulators from the FAA and EASA through to the common paper-logbook formats, so your totals come out in the shape your licence renewal expects. View it as a table or as cards, and search the whole thing. Duty and rest Pick the rule set you fly under and Thryma Log works your duty periods against it: FAA Part 117, Part 121, Part 135 and Part 91K; EASA ORO.FTL for CAT aeroplanes; UK CAA for CAT aeroplanes and helicopters; and Transport Canada CARs 705, 704, 703, 702 and 604. Flight-instructor rule sets are included for the FAA, EASA and the UK. If your company's manual is more restrictive than the regulation, put its limits in as an overlay and the tighter figure wins. Acclimatisation is tracked for you, and you can override it. When a figure depends on something Thryma Log has not been told, it says so instead of guessing. That is the point: a number you cannot trace is worse than no number. Currency and expiry Recency, medical certificates and endorsements, with rule sets for the FAA, EASA, Transport Canada and CASA, or set your own intervals by hand. The dashboard tells you what expires next and when. Reports A full logbook PDF in your chosen column layout, an FAA 8710 experience summary, an EASA FCL.050 formatted logbook, an insurance summary, an airline-application summary, and a CSV of everything. Your data stays yours You never create an account and there is nothing to sign in to. Your logbook lives on your device. Turn on sync and it moves through your own private iCloud between your own devices — your logbook is never uploaded to us, so we cannot read it and cannot restore it for you. Back up before you rely on it; a backup you made is the only safety net there is. One exception, and it only happens when you ask for it: if you send a single flight to another pilot — for a signature, say — that one flight's record passes through our server to reach them, and we could read it while it is there.
