Third Space is a social network for creators, owned by the people who make or break the site, YOU. Text posts for expressing your mind, image posts for expressing your art, video posts for making people laugh or cry, even audio posts for podcasts and music! It's everything in one. The main thing is that Third Space is creator owned! That's the biggest difference besides the algorithm among many other differences. Meaning you not only have a say in how the site affects creators but you also have a share in whatever profits we gain. "But that's socialism!" You say? Why yes, it is. What's more, unlike all the other social media out there, so many things set us apart from them. For example, your followers *actually see* your posts! There is no boost button, no paid reach, and no ads in the feed unless YOU put them there. That's right, you manage your own merch, your own sponsors, your own income. This site is to help make us ALL rich, not just me. We all own the means of production. The algorithm is unique. The business is transparent and even the ranking rules are published in full on our site. Did I mention you get a vote on how the platform affects your audience? That includes the algorithm. The nature of which is not a secret and you get a say in how it works. Your profile page is your canvas. Pick a color and the palette is built around it; frames, textures, backgrounds, video, audio and type are yours to choose. Your work stays yours. Yours to sell. We do not sell your data, and we do not train AI on your work or let anyone else do it. We block AI scrapers. Direct messages and certain types of groups are end-to-end encrypted, so the server cannot read them. A good chunk (where possible) of your profile data, the data other platforms use to personalize your feed (your algorithm), is built and kept on your phone. We don't have access to it at all. I couldn't sell that data if I wanted to. For the problem of impersonation. Every account carries a Signet: a permanent seal, minted when the account is created, that nobody can alter it afterwards. It is not a claim that anyone checked your ID. It is a narrower promise, nobody can convincingly pretend to be you. There will always be a tell, and that tell will be the holographic signet. Moderation is deliberately narrow. Report anything from the ••• menu, block anyone from their profile, and appeal any decision to a person. Voting is how moderation is done.
