Store description excerpt

The Quiet Hours is an interactive story about four friends — Marcus, Rio, Sasha, and Dev — who keep ending up in the same late-night spots with nowhere else to be. A rooftop. A laundromat. A diner at 2am. Each location is a conversation — real, uncomfortable, sometimes funny, sometimes heavy. Read at your own pace as the characters say the kinds of things people only say when the night gets long enough that honesty feels easier. Seven modes. Seven very different nights. Deep Conversations — philosophical dialogue where the group asks the questions that keep you up at 3am. Free will. Consciousness. What makes a life meaningful. Whether you can really know another person. Laid Back Conversations — the same four friends, same city, different energy. Coffee orders, the sport they'd pick back up tomorrow, the hair phase they'd never go back to, the gift they still think about. Impossible Jobs — the weirdest jobs imaginable, and the crew arguing over who'd actually survive them. Babysitting baby dragons. Taming things that shouldn't exist. Gigs in space, villain work, and the truly ridiculous. We Can't Afford That — lawsuits, lawyers, and the things the group legally cannot say. Everything here is allegedly. Everything here is legally distinct. That's Not How It Works — the crew is confidently wrong about everything. Science, history, how banks work. One of them knows the truth. Nobody listens to her. Conspiracy Hour — everyday things are hiding something, and Dev has proof. Socks. Grocery stores. The moon. Follow the money. Bad Advice — real problems, confidently terrible solutions. Do not try any of this. Sasha warned them. Each mode: 100 locations across 10 issues. 700 total conversations. No timer. No score. No losing. Read your way — every conversation can be read three ways: as a script, as a live group chat playing out message by message, or as a social feed with replies. Double-tap the lines that hit, and keep them saved. A cozy reading experience for people who: — Love story-driven fiction and interactive storytelling — Want a no-pressure reading experience with real character depth — Enjoy slice-of-life writing and dialogue-driven stories — Are looking for a visual novel alternative with a hand-made aesthetic — Like apps that feel like hanging out, not competing Zine aesthetic. Typewriter font, ASCII art, and warm dark tones that feel photocopied and hand-made. If you've ever stayed somewhere too late because going home felt like admitting the night was over, this one's for you.
