Store description excerpt

Are you a potato? There is only one way to find out. Potato Test is a pixel-art quiz that asks five absurd yes/no questions (DO YOU HAVE SKIN? CAN YOU PARALLEL PARK?), runs a very serious analysis, and delivers a verdict you did not ask for. Score 80% or more and you are a CERTIFIED POTATO, crown and confetti included. THREE WAYS TO PLAY THE TEST Five questions pulled at random from a bank of 100. Every potato-like answer earns you 20%, and a dramatically over-engineered analysis stalls, doubts itself and slides backwards before it finally commits to your result. HOT POTATO The arcade mode. Questions arrive on a clock that starts at four seconds and gets faster every round. Answering like a potato buys time back, so being a potato is finally worth something. Hold it too long and it goes off. Free and unlimited. 2 PLAYERS Pass the phone. Both players answer the same five questions, with nothing on screen to give away who is ahead. The scores reveal one at a time at the end, a crown goes to whoever is more potato, and there is a taunt sized to the gap. MADE OF PIXELS AND SQUARE WAVES A hand-drawn bitmap font, CRT scanlines, chiptune generated live on your phone, and haptics on every tap. No accounts, no ads, and nothing leaves your device. THE CROWNED ICON Score a perfect 100% on the solo test and unlock an alternate home screen icon: the same potato, wearing the crown. Two free tests a day. Spud Unlimited is a one-time purchase that lifts the limit for good. Hot Potato is always free.
