But do not get to complacent because the sharks will start swimming faster and faster! There are 3 different modes: The Beginner Mode: Has less sharks, more trash and most importantly no shark attacks! The perfect game mode for those who just want to relax and casually clean up the ocean! The Intermediate Mode: This mode is for those who feel tough enough to move on from the beginner mode, but not tough enough to handle the stress of the constant shark attacks happening in the expert mode! You will be given more health, which means you don’t have to stress about picking up as much trash as you would in the expert mode! The Expert Mode: This is for the real heroes, those who are ready to clean up the ocean no matter what dangers lurk in the deep blue sea.. The expert mode sharks are ferocious beasts looking for a snack, and you happen to look extra delicious today, so they will attack you. What does "Ploctopus" mean? Glad you asked! Its a combination of the Swedish word "plocka" which means to pick something up, and "Octopus". Combine those two and you get the Ploctopus! This game is the first in a series about gaming for the environment from The Benchwarmer Studios! What does "Gaming for the environment" mean? It's simple! Each app launched within this category will have a select cause, and project that it supports, it will range anywhere from helping the rainforests to cleaning up the oceans! 50% of the ad revenue generated from this app will directly be donated to the Ocean Cleanup (https://theoceancleanup.com) on a monthly basis!
