Ellen White (November 26, 1827 – July 16, 1915) was a prolific author, writing more than 40 books and 5000 periodical articles during her lifetime. She was one of the founders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, believed by many readers to have the spiritual gift of prophecy described in the Bible. Beginning with the destruction of Jerusalem and continuing through the persecutions of Christians in the Roman Empire, the apostasy of the Dark Ages, the shining light of the Reformation, and the worldwide religious awakening of the nineteenth century, this utility traces the conflict into the future, to the Second Coming of Jesus and the glories of the earth made new.
