Watch the real-life stories of people affected by these different types of dementia. Additionally, you can look closely at the healthy brain and how it typically functions. By knowing how different parts of the brain and their cells usually work, scientists can compare the healthy brain to brains affected by the diseases that cause dementia. This helps scientists to better understand the changes that cause dementia.
