Store description excerpt

A gecko can't tell you the basking spot crept up two degrees. A snake won't mention the UV bulb stopped putting out useful UVB three months ago. By the time something looks wrong, it's usually been wrong for a while. Terralog is how you stay ahead of it — a quiet, careful logbook for anyone keeping reptiles, amphibians and exotic inverts. Set each enclosure up once: hot spot, cold corner, humidity, and the species living in it. From there, the app holds the details you'd otherwise be keeping in your head. Log a feed in two taps and note whether it came back out the other end. Photograph a shed and watch for the day it stops coming off clean — usually the first sign something's off. Weigh a juvenile each week and actually see the growth curve instead of guessing. Keep an eye on the gradient between the warm and cool ends, so a drifting thermostat can't sneak up on you. The UV lamp tracker is the one most keepers wish they'd had sooner. UVB output dies long before the bulb does — somewhere around 6 to 12 months — and there's no way to eyeball it. Terralog counts the hours and tells you when to swap it, before your animal quietly loses its D3. There's a dusting schedule that rotates plain calcium, calcium with D3 and multivitamin across the week, so you cover the bases without overdoing any of them. A brumation calendar walks you through cooling a reptile down for winter, step by step. And a built-in species guide keeps temperature and humidity ranges for the usual lizards and snakes on hand, for the moment a new animal turns up and you need numbers fast. Everything stays on your device. Notifications respect day and night. Snakes, geckos, frogs, inverts — the whole room in one app. General husbandry guidance only. Every species is different — always confirm with a specialist exotic vet. Recreate the biotope. Keep them thriving.
