TERA by Metricwire has been created for use in the TERA research study through the University of Colorado Boulder TERA by MetricWire is designed to help you participate easily and securely in the TERA research study conducted by the University of Colorado Boulder. Our consent forms clearly explain who will collect your data, how it will be anonymized, who will analyze it, and the benefits of your participation. Through the app, you’ll be invited to complete surveys, engage in activities, and access helpful resources. In some cases, we may request optional data, such as location information, activity levels, or smartphone usage patterns, to better understand your environment and behaviors. These requests are entirely optional, and you can opt out at any time. TERA by MetricWire ensures that you always know what data you’re sharing and why. Your data remains under your control. You can review your provided data, choose to leave the study, or delete any or all of your data whenever you wish. For any questions, please contact the TERA study team using the contact information they provided. The TERA app supports diverse research use cases, including: • Activity and Fitness Tracking Researchers may ask questions about activity and fitness or collect data through wearable sensors like Fitbit or Polar. • Stress Management and Relaxation Researchers may configure meditation exercises, relaxation programs, or digital interventions to help participants reduce stress and improve mental acuity. • Clinical Decision Support Researchers may design studies to help clinicians gather insights and deliver personalized decision-making tools for healthcare scenarios. • Healthcare Services and Management Researchers can collect feedback on healthcare services, track patient satisfaction, and optimize management processes for better patient outcomes. • Mental and Behavioral Health Researchers may explore behavioral interventions, mental health strategies, and personalized programs to support emotional well-being. • Medical Reference and Education Researchers may use the app to deliver educational materials or training modules tailored to participants’ medical needs or interests. • Medication and Pain Management Researchers can program medication reminders, track adherence, and assess participants’ experiences with pain management strategies. • Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Researchers may provide tailored physical therapy exercises, schedule rehabilitation check-ins, and monitor progress to support recovery. • Wear OS Compatibility The TERA Wear OS app allows you to sync your phone with your watch app so that you can get real-time alerts for activities on your watch or Wear OS compatible device TERA by MetricWire makes research participation simple, secure, and meaningful, with transparency and user control at the forefront.
