Store description excerpt

Deep under the canopy, a stepped pyramid keeps its hoard behind a floor of carved glyphs. Swap them, line them up, and watch the whole stack collapse into gold. Temple of Quetzal is a match-three puzzle with no clock and no pressure to hurry. Every chamber gives you a target and a budget of moves. How you spend them is the whole game. READ THE BOARD Swap two neighbouring glyphs to line up three or more of a kind. They shatter, the stack above falls into the gap, and anything that lines up on the way down scores again. Chained clears pay more with every step, so the best moves are the ones that set off everything else. MINT THE POWER GLYPHS Line up four and you mint a Sunfire glyph that takes out a whole row or column. Line up five and the Sun Stone banishes every glyph of one kind from the floor. Set one off inside a cascade and the chamber comes apart in your hands. THIRTY CHAMBERS The temple opens gently. The first six chambers give you room to learn the floor, then a sixth glyph joins the bag from the seventh on. By the twenties the move budget is tight enough that every swap has to earn its place. Finish well under budget to claim all three suns. WHAT YOU CAN CARRY Gold from cleared chambers and the daily tribute buys what you need at the temple cache. A Seer Stone lights up a swap when the floor stops making sense. A Rewind Glyph takes back a move you regret. A Temple Quake rattles the whole board into a fresh layout, and a Hidden Passage slips you past a chamber that has you stuck. BUILT TO BE PLAYED ANYWHERE No connection. No timer. No interruptions. The whole temple runs on your iPhone or iPad, offline, and your progress is kept on your device. Turn on Glyph Symbols to mark each kind with its own shape as well as its colour, and Reduced Motion to calm the shake if you prefer things still.
