Who we are Televets We are pioneers in Veterinary Teleorientation. We connect tutors (parents) of Pets to Veterinarians 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, anywhere, democratizing access to information. What we do Guidance We provide veterinary advice on health, wellness, behavior, nutrition, husbandry, environment, disease prevention, lifestyle and documentation for dogs and cats. How we do teleorientation We use online interaction platforms, where the service is provided through messaging, audio or video calls from your cell phone, tablet or computer. FAQ HOW DOES TELE-ORIENTATION WORK? The service is online and teleorientation is carried out by trained veterinarians. Our professionals are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Teleorientation is done by chat, audio or video call. DOES IT REPLACE GOING TO THE VETERINARIAN? No! Definitely teleorientation is not a consultation, therefore, it does not replace face-to-face veterinary care. If the tutor needs a consultation and activates the teleorientation service, the attendant will recommend that he end the service and seek face-to-face care with a veterinarian. WHEN TO USE TELE-ORIENTATION? Tele-orientation can be activated whenever the tutor wants to be guided on health, well-being, behavior and other topics related to the pet world. WHEN TO SEEK PERSONAL SERVICE? In urgent and emergency cases, for evaluations, diagnoses or treatment, the tutor must take the animal directly to a veterinarian.
