Spirit is for people who brew tea in infusions and want to remember how it went. THE CEREMONY The timer carries you from one infusion to the next: first steep, the step for the ones after it, water temperature, leaf weight. The screen stays awake and the signal arrives as a notification, so you can put the phone down and watch the tea instead of the seconds. Ambient sound if you want it — rain, forest, stream, fireplace, wind chimes. Sound and signal keep going when the app goes to the background. After each infusion you do not rate it out of five. You mark how close the strength landed: weaker, right, stronger. The session's score is built from those marks. A ceremony can be interrupted and picked up later. It survives the app being closed. THE COLLECTION A card for every tea: type and subtype, region and producer, harvest year and season, roast, compression, price, grams left, a photo. Flavour and aroma tags, a taste profile across nine scales, notes — as much detail as you want, and not one required field. Brewing parameters per tea, and saved methods: turn a session that worked into a preset and repeat it exactly. Any tea in the collection can be shared with a friend by link. HISTORY AND STATISTICS Every session is kept whole — each infusion, its length, its rating, its notes. Repeating one is a single tap. The home screen: how many teas and how many sessions this week, the average score, a fortnight of sessions as a chart, the split by tea type, the most brewed and the highest rated, and a word about what is running out. Plus a suggestion for right now, weighed from the time of day, the type of tea, your own ratings and what you have not opened in a while.
