Pick your photos, and your iPhone becomes a photo frame. More than a simple slideshow: faces are detected and kept whole, and portrait and landscape shots are combined to fill the screen. With slow motion and a different transition each time, it stays interesting even when left running. FACES ARE NEVER CUT OFF Faces in each photo are detected on device, and the crop is centered on them. When several photos share the screen, each one is scaled so no face is pushed out of its frame. Photos shown at the top of the screen get extra margin so faces stay clear of the Dynamic Island. PORTRAIT AND LANDSCAPE, BOTH LOOK RIGHT The app looks at the orientation of your device and the shape of each photo, then decides whether to show one photo large or arrange several together. Landscape photos on a portrait screen, and portrait photos on a landscape screen, are grouped so nothing has to be cropped away. LINK AN ALBUM, AND NEW PHOTOS COME ALONG Import a whole album from the Photos app. Once linked, every time playback starts the app checks the album for newly added photos and imports them, so there is nothing to do after a trip. AS MANY AS YOU LIKE Keep separate slideshows for separate purposes, such as "Travel" and "Family". Each one keeps its own display time, layout and other settings. FINE CONTROL - Seconds per photo (1 to 30) - One photo at a time, or several arranged together - Transitions (fade, slide and more, or random) - Slow motion effect on or off - Play only photos that contain faces - Shuffle and repeat - Show date and clock, and battery level PHOTOS ARE COPIED INTO THE APP Photos used for playback are copied into the app's own storage. Playback never breaks because you reorganized your library, and never stalls waiting for an iCloud download. Each photo is resized on import to a size suited to the screen, so storage stays modest. POWER SAVING (IN-APP PURCHASE) An add-on for long playback. It dims the screen during playback, stops transition effects, and ends playback automatically after a time you choose. It can also be set to work only while iOS Low Power Mode is on. It is a one-time purchase, and Restore Purchases brings it back on a new device with the same Apple Account. Everything related to playing your photos is free without it. PRIVACY Photos and settings stay on your device. Nothing is sent to any server, and there is no analytics or tracking of any kind.
