Store description excerpt
TaskMaestro is for people who keep track of a lot. Write it all down — the whole kitchen sink — then let the app narrow it: by area, by week, by day. The pile stays complete. The list in front of you stays short. CAPTURE EVERYTHING Inbox takes whatever you think of in one tap and keeps it out of your lists until you've decided what it is. Nothing has to be filed, categorized or scheduled at the moment you think of it — the point is that it stops living in your head. THEN SEE ONLY WHAT MATTERS Filter by area or context, group the list the way you think about it, pull a realistic set of work into a Week, and start each morning on a Day that is short enough to finish. It is one list at three distances — everything, this week, today — and you choose which one you are standing at. DATES THAT MEAN DIFFERENT THINGS Give a task a single date and it has to carry every meaning at once. TaskMaestro pulls them apart — up to four per task: start, target, urgent and due. So "I can start this Monday", "I'd like it done Thursday" and "it's late on Friday" stop competing for one field. Use as many or as few as you like; you only ever see the ones you care about. Tasks color and sort themselves as the dates approach, so urgency shows up without you maintaining it. REMINDERS THAT FOLLOW YOUR DATES Pick which of those dates should notify you, and how far ahead: urgent two hours before, due the day before and again when it lands, target not at all. You keep full control over the noise level. SHARE THE LOAD Invite your household into a shared workspace, move tasks into it, and assign them to whoever is actually doing them. Everyone sees the same list, and a task in the family is off your personal plate without being lost. PROJECTS THAT WAIT THEIR TURN A project is a sequence of steps that depend on each other, and most of them aren't actionable yet. So only the next available step shows up in your lists. The rest sit in the project until it's their turn, instead of padding your day with work you couldn't start anyway. RECURRENCE, BOTH KINDS Some things repeat on a schedule; some repeat a set time after you last did them. TaskMaestro does both. A weekly task you finish two days late still returns on its normal schedule instead of drifting later every cycle. And for the things that aren't really on a calendar — water the plants, deep-clean the kitchen — you can say "at least ten days after I last did it" and let the next one appear when it's actually due. ROUTINES Keep a small library of the things you do most days and pull them into a day when you want them — without a thicket of recurring tasks to prune. WORKS OFFLINE Your data lives on your device as well as in the cloud, so the app works on a plane and syncs when you land. PROVEN METHODS, BUILT FOR A DEVICE TaskMaestro draws on several established task-management methodologies — approaches tried and tested long before software — and adds what only a device can do: a week you can re-plan in seconds, and a l
