Tappy is an AI assistant for the questions you want answered right now. Open the app and ask by keyboard or out loud. You can attach a photo, or a PDF with Premium. Every conversation stays on your iPhone, so you can read it back whenever you like. ■ What you can do - Ask by typing or by talking — the keyboard and the microphone both work, and what you say becomes text as you speak. - Have answers read aloud — choose the voice you like and hear a sample before you settle on one. - Attach a photo or a PDF — a shot from the camera, an image from your library, or a PDF (Premium only). - The right AI for the question — technical questions, things that need a fresh look at the web, translation and summaries each go to the model that suits them. You can also pick one yourself. - Everything is kept on the device — reopen any past conversation from the list. - Copy an answer with one tap. - Nine languages — Japanese, English, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German. Ask in yours and the answer comes back in it. ■ Ask without opening the app (optional) Tappy also works with Back Tap, a feature built into iOS. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap and set Triple Tap to run the Tappy shortcut. Three taps on the back of your iPhone are then enough to ask a question, and the answer arrives in the Dynamic Island, in a notification, and read aloud. The app walks you through the setup. Back Tap is an extra. Everything in Tappy works from the app on its own. ■ Tappy Premium (monthly, auto-renewing) The free plan covers 5 questions a day. Premium raises how much you can ask each day and unlocks PDF attachments. - Light — 4x the free plan's daily allowance - Standard — 10x the free plan's daily allowance - Pro — 18x the free plan's daily allowance All three are auto-renewing monthly subscriptions, and the price for your country is shown before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in Settings > your name > Subscriptions. ■ About the AI Depending on what you ask, Tappy calls one of several models: Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini or Alibaba Cloud Qwen. Only your question and any file you attach are sent. Nothing that identifies you personally goes with it. Answers are generated automatically and are a starting point, not a verdict — check anything that matters to you, especially on medical, legal or financial questions. ■ Privacy Tappy needs no account. You are never asked for a name or an email address.
