The name comes from the taper: the wind-down weeks before a race, when the work is done and all that's left is the countdown. COUNT DOWN, COUNT UP See exactly how many days until each event. Past dates flip to counting up — days since your last marathon, days since the trip of a lifetime. REPEATING EVENTS Set an event to repeat yearly, monthly, weekly, or daily, and Taper always counts toward the next occurrence. Birthdays and anniversaries stay put.
