TAP PAL helps musicians find a tempo, practice steady timing, and improve their internal pulse. FIND A TEMPO Tap the red button and TAP PAL calculates the tempo in beats per minute. The display updates as you continue tapping. TRAIN YOUR TIMING Choose a target tempo and meter, then practice with or without the metronome. Visual feedback shows whether you are rushing, dragging, or approaching the target. METRONOME Practice with a visual and audible metronome, multiple click sounds, adjustable volume, and common meters including 4/4, 3/4, 6/8, 7/8, 2/4, 5/4, and 12/8. MICROPHONE TEMPO DETECTION Use your device microphone to estimate the tempo of claps, percussion, and other clear rhythmic sounds. Microphone audio is processed on the device and is not uploaded or collected. PERFECT TEMPO CERTIFICATES Maintain accurate timing to earn a TAP PAL certificate that you can view, zoom, and save to Photos. TAP PAL includes a Quick Guide and User Manual and is designed for both iPhone and iPad. TAP PAL is also available for macOS as a standalone application and in VST3, AU, and AAX plug-in formats.
