Store description excerpt
■ Count taps. Then see the rhythm. Tap anywhere on the big mechanical counter and the wheels roll over — no menus, no setup, no waiting. When you finish, Tap Counter does what a handheld clicker never could: it draws the rhythm of your count, a graph of the gap between every single tap. Where you sped up, where you slowed down, where you stopped — it is all there, measured on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing needs an account. ------------------------------- ● The click-rhythm graph (the reason this app exists) ------------------------------- Every tap is timestamped locally, so finishing a count gives you far more than a number: • A line of the gap between each tap, drawn left to right in the order you counted. • A dashed median line, so you can see instantly which stretches ran above or below your usual pace. • Rings on the quickest and slowest points, plus a plain sentence naming them — "Quickest around tap 12, slowest around tap 40." • Long pauses are held at the top of the scale and reported honestly, so one interruption never flattens the rest of the graph. • Elapsed time, taps per minute, fastest gap and slowest gap, side by side above it. • The line is drawn straight between real readings. No smoothing, no invented curve — only gaps you actually tapped. ------------------------------- ● How it counts ------------------------------- 1) Tap anywhere The counting surface fills the screen. It registers on press rather than release, so fast counting keeps up with your thumb. 2) Feel every count A haptic click on each tap, and the odometer wheels turn like the real thing. 3) Undo, or reset Miscounted? Undo removes the last tap and its interval. Reset throws the whole count away — behind a confirmation, never by accident. 4) Name it, or don't Type a label at the top — "Boxes", "Rows", "Lap 3" — or leave it blank and count. 5) Finish and file it One tap ends the session and saves it to History with its stats and its graph. 6) History that stays put Your last 200 counts, newest first, with name, total, duration and date. Tap a row to reopen the full result and its graph. Deleting and clearing are each behind a confirmation. 7) Never loses your place The count in progress is written to disk as you tap. Take a call or switch apps — come back and your number is still there. ------------------------------- ● Private by design ------------------------------- • Zero network code. Nothing leaves this phone, ever — check it in airplane mode. • Every session is stored on this device only. • No account, no login, no sign-up. Privacy label: Data Not Collected. • Zero analytics. Zero telemetry. Zero third-party SDKs. • No ads. No subscriptions. No in-app purchases. ------------------------------- ● Built to be tapped ------------------------------- • Every control is at least 64 × 64 pt — easy to hit without looking. • High-contrast type on an AMOLED-friendly black background that sips battery. • Single ta
