Tangente is a one-touch arcade game. No account, no sign-in, no in-app purchases and no ads. It works fully offline. HOW TO PLAY You start spinning inside a ring. Tap once to let go and fly straight along the tangent, then tap again to catch the next ring. Miss a ring and the run ends; tap to retry. MODES Two buttons on the title screen: ENDLESS and DAILY. DAILY is the same game seeded from the current date, so every player gets the same sequence of rings that day. LANGUAGES The game reads the device language at launch and shows its text in whichever of its thirteen supported languages matches: English, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, Arabic, French, Bengali, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Korean, Italian and Thai. Any other language falls back to English. To see this in review, change the device language in Settings and relaunch; the title screen, the two mode buttons and the end-of-run text change with it. The gameplay itself is identical in every language. GAME CENTER The app authenticates with Game Center on launch. When a run ends with a score above zero, the score is submitted to one of two leaderboards, both included in this submission: - tangente.endless (Endless mode) - tangente.daily (Daily challenge) If Game Center sign-in is declined or unavailable, the game continues normally and simply does not submit a score. Sound can be muted from the title screen.
