TAKT is a dice-and-chips lean manufacturing simulation used in corporate operations training. It puts a team on the factory floor of a 12-month production line — rolling for demand, processing units, moving work between stations — and makes the real-world consequences of WIP, lead time, batch size, throughput and bottlenecks visible in a way a slideshow never can. HOW TO PLAY - Solo practice: try the first 3 months of the full 12-month simulation free, no account or credit card needed. Run every station yourself against the 70-unit / 20-day target, with the same post-month dashboards and wall-chart export as the paid version. - Group sessions: a facilitator runs a live session and the room joins with a short code — one phone per station, roll/process/move phases in real time. - Microlearning: short, code-accessible modules covering pull systems, eliminating waste, managing the workplace, communication, teamwork, leadership and OEE — with or without a facilitator. - Run logging: log shifts against a real production line's stations, not just the simulated one. FOR FACILITATORS A live dashboard tracks day-by-day KPIs (shipped, WIP, lead time) as the room plays, with dice-roll and phase overlays, auto-play, and a Day-10 coaching checkpoint. After each month, get a full cost breakdown, insights and month-over-month trend charts, plus a wall-chart export for the room. BUILT FOR YOUR INDUSTRY Station names, product units and KPI labels can be tailored to your industry — healthcare, mining, logistics and more — so the mechanics stay identical but the language feels native to the room you're training.
