Tagrade reads the price and package size, normalizes units, ranks comparable items, and shows which option is actually cheaper. Core features: - On-device text scanning for printed shelf tags - Manual entry for hard-to-scan tags, reflective labels, or no-camera use - Unit-price comparison across ounces, pounds, grams, kilograms, fluid ounces, milliliters, liters, gallons, quarts, pints, count, sheets, and loads - Multi-buy entry for deals such as 3 for 10 - Sale and coupon percentage adjustment - Basket Advisor showing estimated extra cost for the worst unit price - Mixed-unit warnings when a comparison would not be meaningful - Shareable comparison summaries - Local comparison history - Metric and imperial display preference Tagrade is local-first. Camera frames are processed on device, comparison history is stored locally, and no account, analytics, ads, or developer-run cloud service is required.
