Store description excerpt
Train smart, train with data. Taekwondo Load Test is the ultimate tool for taekwondo coaches, strength and conditioning specialists, and athletes: it is no longer just the test. It is the app to train real taekwondo — technology and training in one place. Developed by GESTEDIA. Turns your iPhone or iPad into a biomechanics lab and a class notebook. Computer vision and artificial intelligence. No expensive sensors or extra hardware. No account required: your data stays on your device. DAILY WORKOUT The core of this version. Keep your class on your phone and, if you want, on your Apple Watch. • Kyorugi: sparring and rounds. Running time: start and stop when the work stops. • Poomsae: power without losing form. • Kibon: technique, kicks, and fundamentals. • Strength: weights, resistance bands, or floor work. • Outdoor Run: GPS, pace, and distance while using the app. • Treadmill Run: pace and heart rate, without GPS. Upon finishing: perceived exertion, session report (insights and next steps), and, if heart rate is tracked, Z1–Z5 zones, TRIMP (Banister), kcal (Karvonen), and intensity ring. Live heart rate comes from a Bluetooth chest strap (Polar, Garmin, etc.) or your Apple Watch. If you exit without tapping Finish, the session is not saved. STATUS — HOW YOU ARE REALLY DOING Status combines 0–100 recovery, sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, VO₂, and weekly training load (ATL, CTL, TSB). Charts are interactive: each dot represents a day. If resting heart rate spikes for several days compared to your baseline, stick to the main session and skip the extra load. Integrates with Apple Health, with your permission: reads sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, VO₂, and workouts from other apps; writes taekwondo, strength, or running sessions. If you decline Health access, training and testing still work. Home Screen Widget available. Today tells you whether it is a day for kyorugi, light technical work, or testing. The 3×45 retest is scheduled based on your training load and readiness. SCIENTIFIC PROTOCOL — 3×45 TEST When it is time to measure, it guides you through the taekwondo load test. It does not replace the daily workout: it is the lab. • 3 sets of 45 seconds: Bandal Chagui at maximum speed, alternating legs. • 3 rests of 30 seconds: controlled recovery. • The third rest period is mandatory: heart rate recovery (HRR) and true fitness status. AI kick tracking, power (W), velocity (m/s), fatigue index, impact height, asymmetry, estimated VO₂, calories, baseline. The camera is only used here; video is never uploaded. The watch tracks heart rate only and does not trigger a kyorugi session. CLUB The same test for your athlete. The PDF belongs to them. Status, Workout, and Apple Watch tracking belong to the device owner. REPORTS Session and test PDF reports, available in five languages. SUBSCRIPTIONS Free: workout tracking, performance metrics, and camera test. Premium (Monthly or Annual): save tests, access full history, PDF exports, and Club features. Terms of
