The SILESIAN BLUES TRAIL app is an interactive guide to the clubs where Silesian blues was born. It easily and conveniently leads you along the world's first permanent tourist trail dedicated to music clubs. Blues is an important part of the history of Katowice – a UNESCO CITY OF MUSIC. Musicians who shaped the history of Polish blues began and performed in venues like the Puls, Pod Rurą, and Ciapek clubs. The SILESIAN BLUES TRAIL consists of more than a dozen locations in Katowice. Use the app to plan your tour and read a short history of your chosen location. Each club is featured in videos by renowned Silesian musicians. Thanks to geolocation, full film footage is only available in the locations you visit! While visiting the Trail, you will learn about and listen to the memories of artists such as ADAM I BENO OTRĘBA, LESZEK WINDER, IREK DUDEK, JÓZEF SKRZEK and many, many others.
