Remember to consult a doctor before departure, check the vaccination status with us and our family members, and check the recommendations for traveling to a given country before traveling to areas with an increased risk of developing the disease. It is worth taking a travel first aid kit with appropriate medicines, prepare clothes, get insect repellent, insure yourself against treatment costs and, if necessary, apply antimalarial prophylaxis. An important element is self-education about the conditions in a given tap and area. We encourage you to use the interactive travel vaccination calendar, which we have prepared at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Tropical Diseases and Acquired Immunological Deficiencies of the Pomeranian Medical University. This will allow you to better estimate the time needed to start vaccinations and to better prepare for the planned trip. The calendar reminds you to vaccinate before the planned travel date and includes guidelines depending on the route of the planned trip.
