SylvaScan is a forestry field data capture app designed for tree measurement, LiDAR scanning, photogrammetry, offline mapping, and structured field records. Measure tree diameter at breast height (DBH) and height using guided AR workflows. On supported devices, SylvaScan can use LiDAR and depth data to assist with automatic measurements and spatial capture. Capture and manage: • Tree DBH and height measurements • LiDAR scans and point clouds • 3D scan outputs • Photogrammetry photo sets and models • GPS-linked field records • Map marks, notes, and plot information • Offline GeoPackage map layers SylvaScan is built for forestry, environmental fieldwork, research, conservation, and practical forest measurement workflows. Key capabilities include: • Guided DBH + Height measurement • Automatic DBH measurement using supported depth hardware • Distance + angle height measurement • Deep Scan and Normal Scan modes • Point-cloud and 3D model previews • Offline field mapping • GeoPackage raster and vector layer support • Local-first field data storage • Export and sharing of supported field outputs Some AR, depth, and LiDAR features require compatible Apple hardware.
