Your camera roll is mostly things you would never miss. Forty near identical shots of the same sunset. A screenshot of where you parked in 2021. A four minute video nobody has ever watched. Swoopix finds that stuff and helps you get rid of it. It opens by telling you roughly how much space you could get back, so you can decide whether this is worth your evening. Then it shows you one photo at a time. Swipe right to keep, left to delete. That is the whole idea. NOTHING GETS DELETED BEHIND YOUR BACK Everything you swipe left lands in Trash Review first. You look through it, you confirm, and then iOS asks you again the way it always does. Change your mind after that and it is still in Recently Deleted for 30 days. There is no button in this app that wipes a thousand photos in one tap. That is on purpose. WHAT IT FINDS Duplicates, side by side, so you can pick the one worth keeping instead of guessing. Similar shots. Every burst where you took eight and needed one. Old screenshots. Receipts, confirmation codes, directions to a place you already went. You decide how old counts as old. Blurry and dark photos, and it tells you why it flagged each one so you can disagree with it. Big videos. It makes a smaller copy, shows it to you, and only offers to remove the original after you have seen the result. IT ALL HAPPENS ON YOUR PHONE No account. No sign in. Your photos are never uploaded anywhere for any of this. The scanning runs on your iPhone, which is also why a big library takes a minute the first time you open it.
