Store description excerpt

Your saved videos of Japan are not a plan yet. Sixty TikToks, a folder of screenshots, forty pins on Google Maps. Saving was the easy part. Deciding is the part no app helps with, and with eight days and three cities, something has to be cut. Swipe Trip is a travel planner that takes on the deciding. FIRST, WE HAND YOU THE MUST-SEE LIST Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Okinawa, Seoul, Busan, Taipei, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Honolulu, Paris, Rome, Barcelona. 486 hand-picked spots across 17 cities, already in the app. Create a trip, type your destination, and that city's must-see cards drop in at once. No reading ten "Japan itinerary" articles and typing every place in by hand. We do not decide the order for you. This is not a route to follow. It is the full set, so you never get home and find out you walked past the famous one. Cut what you do not want, and what is left is your trip. THREE STEPS 1. Get the must-see spots in. Type a destination and the cards appear, each with a photo, so you can judge a place you have never heard of at a glance. Destinations outside the 17 cities work too, you just add the places yourself. 2. Keep or cut. Right for definitely going, up for want to go, left for curious, down for not this time. One or two seconds a card. Anything you are unsure about goes on hold, and "not this time" stays in the trip as backup for the day you finish early. 3. Build the days on the map. Your choices land as color-coded pins. Three "definitely going" clustered in one district and two out on their own: the moment you see that, day one decides itself. Give cards a day and a time, drag them across days, and tap two neighboring spots to hand the route to Google Maps. Navigation on the day is Google's job. Deciding beforehand is ours. STOP TYPING PLACES IN BY HAND - A TikTok or Instagram link: the caption is read for place names, and photo posts are read from the image - A YouTube link: places written in the description are picked up (video and audio are not analyzed) - A Google Maps link: that one place becomes a card - A blog or article link: the restaurants and sights in it become cards - A screenshot: name, address, category and description are read from the image - Or just search by name Everything read is shown before it is added, so you can fix it or skip it. PLAN TOGETHER, OR ALONE Send an invite code and up to 12 people can swipe the same trip, with no account needed. Places everyone marked "definitely going" get flagged, and so do the ones you disagree on, so you only discuss what is actually contested. For people without the app, send a link: the plan opens in a browser and they can heart what they like and send it back. Real dates, member names and individual choices are never shown there. EXPORT THE ITINERARY A simple day-by-day schedule to paste into a group chat, or a detailed catalog with photos and descriptions to read before you go. Save either as PNG or PDF.
