SWI Cloud VMS is a pure cloud video surveillance and analytics platform, operating on a modern redundant cloud architecture via an HTML5 Web interface with comprehensive mobile applications. Cloud VMS is hosted on AWS S3 for redundancy and data security but can also be deployed on a private cloud. The deployment of pure cloud surveillance is affordably scalable and flexible as existing cameras can be added without additional hardware or software investments. Components of the platform • Web-based video portal and admin portal • Native mobile apps for iOS and Android • Alarm station module for real-time monitoring Options: • Cloud analytics; object detection, people counting, heatmaps, color and area search • Web widgets, long-term time lapse and more Existing cameras can connect directly to Cloud VMS with no extra investment in cameras or video servers. Once cameras are connected to the online platform the systems will easily scale. Depending on preference, costs can shift from CapEx to Opex category for additional savings. With the Cloud VMS subscription, there are flexible monthly cloud storage plans for each of the connected cameras. All the functionality is delivered via the cloud with optional add-on subscriptions. Automatic updates are included with your subscription. Cameras connect directly to the cloud and can avoid relying on an on-site digital video server. The only scale limitations would be on-site internet bandwidth connection. Camera count can be instantly increased or decreased camera and scale the video security operations without additional hardware investments. Implementing cloud-based surveillance is instant: simply plug the preconfigured cameras into the router or PoE switch and it will automatically connect to the cloud. There is no need to reserve static IP addresses for each camera, port forward or create any firewall rules - it just works! Existing cameras can be made smart by using the SWI VMS Cloud analytics. Valuable data can be extracted from the camera feeds. Select from a suite of on-demand cloud add-ons to layer intelligent modules and improve your video monitoring capability. Control camera pan, tilt and zoom, (PTZ) and two-way audio from the Cloud VMS. Set any streaming parameters to match the available bandwidth at each location. An API can be provided to push and pull data from the cloud to integrate with your existing backend. You can use webhooks to subscribe to real time event notifications. Security is the highest priority in the SWI cloud. Camera feeds are encrypted and never on the public internet. Surveillance recordings are stored encrypted on the SWI cloud.
