Sushi Match is a falling-block puzzle with a twist, set at a conveyor-belt sushi bar. Here's the catch: you can't clear the sushi you've matched. All you can do is tap the sushi that's in the way and take it off the board. Sushi drops into the gap, and whenever two of the same neta end up side by side — across or down — they're eaten automatically. HOW TO PLAY 1. Tap the sushi that's in your way Every tap costs you the number printed on the plate, taken from your remaining cost. 2. Two of a kind clear themselves — for free Automatic clears cost you nothing. If the sushi that falls in lines up again, that's a chain. The longer the chain, the bigger the score. 3. Cleared sushi stack up as plates Watch the plate tower on the right. Reach the target line and you level up, restoring some of your remaining cost so you can keep going. THE CHOICE THAT MAKES THE GAME You start with 100 cost, and it's game over when you hit zero. Tapping an expensive neta drains your cost fast — but sometimes shifting one cheap plate is all it takes to set off a huge chain. "Do I spend a tap now to build the chain?" "Or wait one more turn and let it line up on its own?" That call is the heart of the game. Nothing is timed, so take as long as you like. TEN KINDS OF SUSHI Green tea (0), cucumber roll (1), tamago (2), white fish (3), futomaki (4), salmon (5), shrimp (6), tuna (7), salmon roe gunkan (8), and sea urchin gunkan (9). The number is what that piece costs to remove — priced like a real sushi bar, so the fancier the neta, the more it costs. You start with just the six cheapest kinds. As you level up, the premium neta arrive, and the board grows richer and tougher at the same time. Every piece is drawn as its own pixel-art plate, so you can tell them apart by the dish as well as the neta. LUCKY SUSHI Now and then a golden star sushi appears. Tapping it costs nothing, and it hands you three free removals on top of that. It's your best chance to reshape the whole board — grab it the moment you see one.
