Store description excerpt
Virtues of this Surah According to traditional Islamic narrations, this Surah is associated with various spiritual virtues and blessings. Muslims recite it while seeking Allah's mercy, guidance, and help in their personal lives. It is reported in some traditional sources that an unmarried woman who sincerely prays to Allah and performs ghusl (ritual bath) using water in which this Surah has been dissolved may do so with the hope of seeking Allah's blessings regarding marriage. Similarly, some traditional narrations mention writing verses 131 and 132 of this Surah with saffron and wearing them as a ta'wiz (talisman) while praying to Allah for ease in marriage. These practices are based on traditional Islamic narrations and personal religious beliefs. Any outcome is solely by the will of Allah. It is also narrated from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that whoever recites this Surah will receive a great reward. Muslims recite this Surah with the intention of seeking closeness to Allah and hoping for His mercy and blessings.
