An app for all First Responders, supporters of First Responders, and survivors of fallen First Responders. If you are Supporting Heroes MEMBER, it is especially for you! Supporting Heroes is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created in 2004 to support families of First Responders who fall in the line-of-duty. In addition to providing financial and other direct support to survivors, we assist First Responder and community leaders in properly responding to a line-of-duty death and appropriately supporting surviving family members and others affected. Supporting Heroes currently serves Indiana, Kentucky, and Missouri, but the app, features, and information are available and pertinent to everyone regardless of location. While the app contains some MEMBERS ONLY content and features, it is available to all First Responders, supporters of First Responders, and survivors of fallen First Responders. **APP FEATURES** ---PROFILE MANAGEMENT: Update personal information for app-connection and content-delivery ---NEWS FEED: Like, share, and discover the latest news (filtered by topic, keyword, or subgroup) ---EVENTS/TRAINING: View and register for upcoming events and training ---POLLS: Participate in live polls and surveys ---DISCUSSION (OPEN): Engage with other app users on pertinent topics ---DISCUSSION (PRIVATE): Engage with peers on personal topics (with privacy for groups such as surviving spouses; surviving parents; chiefs and chief officers; honor guard members; peer support teams; chaplains; and more) ---PUSH NOTIFICATIONS: Receive line-of-duty death notification and related information according to user-selected criteria ---RESOURCES: Instant access to resources such as checklists for leaders; benefits information; death classification; levels of honor; and more **MEMBERS-ONLY FEATURES** ---RESPONSE UPDATES: Current information about our response status and the support that is being provided on your behalf following a line-of-duty death ---MESSAGING: Live chat right from the app
