Store description excerpt

SuperDispatch is the Superroute dispatcher's console for the hours away from the desk. Route planning happens in the morning, on a desktop. The day's outcome is decided in the four to eight hours after that, when the dispatcher is no longer sitting in front of the planning console. SuperDispatch is built for those hours: it shows what needs a dispatcher right now and lets them close it, instead of reproducing a desktop planning tool on a phone screen. It is a queue, not a dashboard. The server orders the work worst-first, and each card carries the two or three actions that finish it. An empty list means the day is running as planned. A Superroute account is required. This app is a companion to the Superroute delivery platform and is intended for dispatchers, operations staff and administrators of companies that already use Superroute; there is no separate sign-up in the app. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Work the signal board. Everything that needs attention, worst first, with severity counts. Acknowledge a signal to say you are on it, resolve it, or dismiss it with a reason. • See every driver who is out on one map, drawn only where their position is actually known. Older fixes fade, and drivers who cannot be placed are listed underneath with the reason rather than quietly left off the map. • Open any route as a stop-by-stop timeline: the planned position of each stop and, where it has happened, the real completion time. Search by route name, route number or driver. • Leave a note for the driver, from a signal or from any stop on a timeline. Notes appear in the driver app, so it is an existing channel rather than a new one. • Re-optimise a driver's remaining stops, under the same lock the web console uses, so the two can never both be solving one route. • Replace a driver on a route in two steps — for the phone that died and the driver who did not turn up. Only outstanding work changes hands; what has already been delivered or failed stays recorded against whoever did it. • Reorder stops by dragging them, on one driver's timeline or across every vehicle on a route. Nothing is written until you press Update. Stops can be dragged between two of the day's routes, and a cross-route move is checked with the server first. Delivered and failed stops do not move: they are a record of what happened. • Hand a single stop to another driver. Picking a destination shows what would move, and by name what would not, before anything is written. • Draw the whole route on one map with each vehicle in its own colour, and switch drivers off one at a time when four runs over the same town are drawn on top of each other. • Be told when something critical is raised while the phone is in a pocket. Push covers newly raised critical signals only — a phone that buzzes for everything gets silenced, and then the one that mattered is missed too. • Read it in fourteen languages, the same fourteen Superroute supports, selectable before signing in as well as afterwards.
