Sundime is the free companion app for the Sundime home-battery system. It pairs with your Sundime Gateway, which runs your GoodWe inverter and home battery on autopilot — charging on cheap and solar energy, then powering your home through expensive peak periods to cut your electricity bill. The app is your calm window onto all of it: you set things up once, let it run, and stay fully in control. SET AND FORGET — BUT NEVER OUT OF THE LOOP After a short setup, Autopilot works out the most cost-effective way to run your battery each day and just gets on with it. It learns from about a week of your home's real solar and load before it takes over, so it plans around how your house actually behaves — not a generic template. Even then it never switches itself on: when it's ready, the app simply invites you to hand over, and you decide. Turning Autopilot off is always allowed, and nothing is lost when you switch it back on. PEACE OF MIND FOR BLACKOUTS Set a backup reserve and your battery never discharges below that level powering the house, so there's always some charge held back for an outage. More in reserve means more blackout cover; less means more battery free to save you money each day — the balance is yours to set. The live power-flow card even shows roughly how long the battery could keep your home running at the current load. SEE EXACTLY WHAT IT'S DOING • A live power-flow view of solar, home, battery and grid, with the battery as the centrepiece — fill, charge percentage, and what it's doing right now. • A plain-English "What's happening" narration of why your system is doing what it's doing. • Real dollars saved this week, plus a today-so-far breakdown. While Sundime is still learning your home it says so honestly, rather than inventing a number. A FULL YEAR OF HISTORY, AND A "WITHOUT SUNDIME" COMPARISON The Energy tab shows today's power trace, where your energy went, daily bars by week and month, and a solar generation outlook for today and tomorrow. "What you've spent" is a tariff-priced monthly bill you can step back across a full year — each month set against what you'd have paid without Sundime, so the value is concrete and there in the numbers. HOUSEHOLD SHARING YOU CONTROL Invite people in your home by email as Admin (can change settings) or View-only (can see, not change). As the owner, you approve each person's device before it gets access, you can change anyone's level or remove them at any time, and only you can manage who has access or hand over the gateway. Approval is per-device and key-based, so sharing stays in your hands — no one else on your network can see your home or change a setting. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No third-party advertising or analytics, and no tracking across apps or websites. Your account uses your email; location is read once, only if you choose, to set up your solar forecast. Data is encrypted in transit.
