What went wrong is the file format, or simply how the Photos app previews transparent pixels. Sukemaru decodes the file it just wrote and measures the alpha channel, so you can tell the difference immediately. ■ Alpha Check — proof, not a promise Sukemaru analyzes the exported PNG and reports whether an alpha channel exists, what percentage of pixels are fully transparent, and what the real file format is.
