Apple Wallet holds your payment cards and boarding passes. Strongroom holds the rest. Driving licence. Passport. Insurance certificate. The membership card you only need twice a year, and the vehicle logbook you can never find. Photograph them once, and they're encrypted on this device, behind Face ID. **Nothing leaves your iPhone** Strongroom contains no networking code at all. Not a disabled feature, not an off switch — there is nothing in the app capable of sending your cards anywhere. No account, no cloud, no sync, no sharing, no export. **Encrypted with a key that can't leave** Your cards are sealed with AES-256-GCM. The key lives in the Secure Enclave-backed Keychain, marked so that it never appears in a backup and never syncs. Getting at it requires Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode — every time. **Honest about screenshots** Screen recording and mirroring are detected, and your cards are hidden while they run. A screenshot cannot be prevented by any app, so Strongroom does the only thing it honestly can: it tells you one was taken, and reminds you the image is now sitting unencrypted in Photos. **Your cards stay on this device** Because the key never leaves, restoring a backup onto a new iPhone brings your card names across but not the photographs. That is the same property that makes a stolen backup useless to anyone else. Strongroom says so before you start, not afterwards. No accounts. No adverts. No analytics. No tracking.
