StromTuner is a needle-matching and dyno-tuning reference tool for Zenith-Stromberg CD carburetors — the 1½″ CD/CDS/CDSE needle family used across Triumph, MG, Volvo, Saab, Jaguar, Land Rover, Jensen-Healey, and more. FIND Enter the diameters you want at any of 13 stations and StromTuner ranks the 144 needles in its database by how closely they match, using total deviation or least-squares scoring. TUNE Start from a needle you already have. Pick a region — Idle, Low Cruise, Mid Cruise/Low Accel, Hi Cruise, Hi Accel, or the whole needle — and ask for richer or leaner. StromTuner finds needles that move that region in the direction you want while disturbing the rest of the profile as little as possible. COMPARE Overlay up to four needles at once on a diameter chart and a flow-area chart (the actual open gap between needle and jet — what fuel flow is really proportional to), normalized at idle so shapes are directly comparable. APPLICATIONS 39 factory vehicle applications across seven marques, cross-checked against parts catalogs, factory manuals, and marque specialists, with standard needle codes linked straight to the matching needle data. DYNO LOG IMPORT Import a CSV AFR log from your dyno session — keep multiple named runs per needle, see each reading plotted against the needle's own station chart, and set target AFR bands per zone to spot at a glance which region is running rich or lean. StromTuner works fully offline. No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no network access at all — your needle data and AFR logs never leave your device.
